Here are all our tips for properly maintaining and storing your favorite toys!

If you want to keep your erotic accessories in good condition for the long term, like any item, there are maintenance rules to follow, especially since they are very intimate.

Clean your erotic accessories

Before using for the first time, wash your accessory well, even if it is brand new it has still been created, packaged and shipped, so take the time to wash it.

Then clean it before and after each use, especially dildos, vibrators and anal plugs, since the vagina and anus are sensitive areas.

What to clean them with?

Preferably a cleanser designed for this purpose such as our Sensation plus antibacterial cleanser, its formulation respects the material and softness of all your erotic accessories.

You can also use a mild, unscented soap, but be careful that it is mild enough not to harm the vaginal flora by not rinsing the product sufficiently or even damaging the material.

How to wash your erotic accessories?

  • Remove the batteries from the toy if necessary.
  • Apply the liquid freely to the surface and allow to take effect for one to two minutes.
  • Gently wash and rinse with warm water, avoiding any contact of electrical components with water.
  • Let the toy dry, do not use a towel, the sweatshirt may stick to the toy.
  • To prolong the life of the toy, clean it regularly and remove the batteries when the toy is not in use.

Where to put it?

If it contains batteries, remove them, this will prevent it from leaking.

Keep the boxes or a small soft fabric bag to tighten them, for hygiene and discretion.
Store them in a clean, dry and discreet place.
Avoid touching each other so as not to produce a reaction between the materials.

Remember that silicone + silicone creates a chemical reaction that destroys the material:

  • It can melt.
  • Blacken
  • In the case of two vibrators sticking together, soldering together.

Lubricant.

Always preferably use a water-based lubricant with toys:

  • They are easier to clean.
  • None of them will damage the material.

Avoid using these products with your erotic accessories:

  • All of the products below may damage your pleasure items.
  • Silicone lubricant, except on metal or glass items.
  • Vaseline or any petroleum-based products.
  • Massage, baby, cooking oil, in short, any oil may damage or harm the vaginal flora of a woman who is sensitive.
  • Hand or body creams, perfumed or not.
  • Saliva which contains several bacteria.

Small precaution !!!

Any motor accessory where they are listed as "waterproof", but that doesn't mean 100% submersible, they just are splash proof and are great for maintenance.

Do not put the part where you insert the batteries or the area that you plug in to recharge under water.
Avoid leaving your vibrators or any silicone product in contact with each other, the silicone creating a chemical reaction when it touches other silicones the risks would be that the material will deteriorate over time, do not hesitate to store them in small fabric bags.

Take care of it and they will thank you!
